From a very early age, Alena Hennessy was drawn into dream-line beauty and nature and its happenings. She would spend hours illustrating imaginary worlds of animals and plant life. As she grew older, certain elements like color and line became an important focus of her work, along with the desire to create a feeling of quiet simplicity and whimsy.
